In 2016 I went on a very different style of holiday to my usual rural adventures. I was invited on a trip to Dubai as part of a big birthday celebration, I visited for a week and before I went I desperately Googled information on dress-codes, drinking rules and what kind of activities were available. There are so many different opinions out there and ultimately it was completely different than the internet had suggested.
